I saw this slogan – “W Stands forWomen” on a bumper sticker and in light of recent polls it seems to be true! WOO- HOOO! It’s about time ladies! We have been soccer moms for too long! Women have been clasified as a liberal group for a long time and I have wondered why for a long time. As a woman myself, the conservative agenda fits my concerns much better. Watch 0ut America, here come the Security Moms!!!!

John Kerry’s current position on the war:
The removal of Saddam Hussein has left America less secure. You are currently against the war and wouldn’t have gone to war, but you used to be for the war before you were against the war before you were for the war.
Sadly, that about sums it up
Your RecordYou voted for the wrong war, in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Now you say the war you voted for made us less safe.
You said voting against the funding for the war would be irresponsible. That was before you voted against the funds.
You said it would be nave to the point of grave danger not to confront Saddam Hussein.
During the Democrat primaries, you said, I think it was the right decision to disarm Saddam Hussein, and when the President made the decision, I supported him, and I support the fact that we did disarm him. That was before the surge of Howard Dean led you to declare yourself an anti-war candidate.
You are saying your vote for the war was a vote to authorize war so America could send a united message to Saddam. But don’t forget in 1991 you said, This is not a vote about a message. It is a vote about war.
You are saying the removal of Saddam Hussein has left America less secure. Unfortunately, you also told Howard Dean, Those who doubted whether Iraq or the world would be better off without Saddam Hussein, and those who believe we are not safer with his capture, don’t have the judgment to be president or the credibility to be elected president.
Funny, what is he saying now? I think, in his own words, he is saying that he, himself, doesn’t “have the judgment to be president or the credibility to be elected president” (we all know he has zero credibility)
You are saying the U.S. is spending too much money on Iraq, but in August 2003, you said we need to increase funding for Iraq by whatever number of billions of dollars it takes to win.You refused to take a position on whether or not the war you voted for was illegal.
You have said knowing everything you know now, you still would have voted for the war but knowing everything we know now the war was a mistake.
How could ANYONE want to vote for this guy? I’d like to have some direction on where America is going, John F. Kerry won’t provide that.

This is great
Now:
Kerry, in offering a detailed strategy to contain terrorism and to draw a sharp distinction between his and the president’s views on national security, added, “Iraq is now what it was not before the war, a haven for terrorists.”
But just a few years ago:
“We know that Iraq is a danger to the United States, and we reserve the right to take pre-emptive action whenever we feel it’s in our national interest.”

Former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani told President Bush this week that he is sorry. “I owe you an apology,” Mr. Giuliani began. “I made a mistake during my [Republican National Convention] speech … I said that with 64 days to go, John Kerry could change his mind five or six times about what to do in Iraq. Well, he’s already changed his mind four or five times and I’m going to be proven wrong again because I think we’re looking more like eight or nine times.”
If that isn’t the truth, then I don’t know what is.

Moron of the day!
Today’s Moron Of The Day Award is given to Dan Rather. Good job Dan Rather!
From The Drudge Report:
EXCLUSIVE // Mon Sep 20 2004 11:58:02 ET
STATEMENT FROM DAN RATHER:Last week, amid increasing questions about the authenticity of documents used in support of a 60 MINUTES WEDNESDAY story about President Bush’s time in the Texas Air National Guard, CBS News vowed to re-examine the documents in questionand their sourcevigorously. And we promised that we would let the American public know what this examination turned up, whatever the outcome.
Now, after extensive additional interviews, I no longer have the confidence in these documents that would allow us to continue vouching for them journalistically. I find we have been misled on the key question of how our source for the documents came into possession of these papers. That, combined with some of the questions that have been raised in public and in the press, leads me to a point whereif I knew then what I know nowI would not have gone ahead with the story as it was aired, and I certainly would not have used the documents in question.
But we did use the documents. We made a mistake in judgment, and for that I am sorry. It was an error that was made, however, in good faith and in the spirit of trying to carry on a CBS News tradition of investigative reporting without fear or favoritism.
Please know that nothing is more important to us than people’s trust in our ability and our commitment to report fairly and truthfully.
I love this part: “carry on a CBS News tradition of investigative reporting without fear or favoritism.”
Yeah right, I remember Rather slamming the people who questioned him on the documents, and then challenged President Bush to answer his questions about the documents.
The documents were fake, created and paid for by democrats in a, yet again, sad attempt to make Bush look bad.
Good Job Kerry, Real Proud!

Just what we like to see:
CBS POLL NOW: BUSH 50 — KERRY 41
CBS POLL LAST WEEK: BUSH 49 — KERRY 42
Too bad for Kerry!
Thursday, September 16, 2004
From The Drudge Report:
CBSNEWS EXECS CONCERN OVER VIEWERSHIP PLUNGE; RATHER RATINGS FADE IN MAJOR MARKETS
Of course, Americans don’t want to see liars on their news. Hopefully Rather will be gone soon enough.
UPDATE:
NIELSEN numbers this week show Rather fading and trailing his rivals in every Top 10 city, other than San Francisco, with audience margins in some cities of more than 6 to 1 against CBS… MORE…
Awww, too bad for Rather.
Only if
Only if Kerry was as honorable as President Bush:
(CNSNews.com) – The U.S. Navy released documents Wednesday contradicting claims by Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry that all of his available military records have been released.
But he isn’t, and that is quite clear by his unearned Purple Hearts.
KERRY INSULTING THE NATIONAL GUARD:
From the GOP:
“What I’ve always said is—and I defended Bill Clinton’s position, and I would defend the president’s choice with respect to going into the Guard. I’ve never made any judgments about any choice somebody made about avoiding the draft, about going to Canada, going to jail, being a conscientious objector, going into the National Guard.”(FNC’s “Hannity And Colmes,” 2/3/04)
This man is just full of insults to our military. Good job Kerry!

Washington, DC —RNC Communications Director Jim Dyke made the following statement today:“The video the Democrats released today is as creative and accurate as the memos they gave CBS.
Hahaha, that’s great! Fake Memo’s = B.S. Video.
The Times of New Roman
Still not convinced that these documents are forgeries? Here is the original document with one that is typed in default, Times New Roman in 12 point font. This was definetly not a professional job. What is still amazing is that Dan Blather still refuses to believe that he was duped. Judge for yourself!

Kerry
Why will he not release his full military service record? He keeps slamming Bush for his military service record, yet he won’t release his complete record like Bush.
-mjg
Question: What is Kerry’s current position on Iraq?
A: For the war
B: Against the war before he voted for it
C: Not for the war…. Maybe?
D: Wrong War, Right Time, Right Place
E: All of the above
A challenge to democrats who think the documents are real:
From: Defeat John John Dot Com
The challenge: “I am offering $10,000 right now to anyone who can find for me a typewriter from 1972 that could have reasonably made those documents. Payment will be made in the form of a cashiers check to the first individual who can do this. The typewriter must be using the same proportionally spaced font as the CBS documents, the same curly-quotation marks, the same impossible superscripted “th”s, the same 13-point line spacing, and create a document that looks as much (or more) like the alleged forgeries than does a Microsoft Word document with default fonts and margins.”

$10,000 Part Two: The IBM Selectric
First of all, thanks to the five people who have each pledged $100 a piece in addition to my $10,000 offering. Therefore, anyone who can reasonably recreate the CBS memos on equipment available in early 1972 will be receiving at least $10,500.Two people so far have attempted to claim the prize on the basis that the IBM Selectric Composer was a proportionally-spaced font typewriter available at that time (though not yet in wide use). In fact, even CBS News is apparently going on the air tonight with “evidence” that this model and several other typewriters of the day could even do super- or sub-script characters.
Yet the IBM Selectric Composer’s own manual makes superscripting of the type seen in the CBS forgeries impossible. This section is taken from page 51 of the manual (page 56 of the .pdf):
As you can see, the super- and sub-scripting available to these typewriters only involved the raising or lowering of letters; it obviously couldn’t make them any smaller, since the wheel was fixed-point.
To repeat: a typewriter could only raise or lower letters—it couldn’t make them smaller or larger because the wheel used fixed-size characters. The CBS forgeries contain Microsoft-style mini-font superscripts, which could not be done even on a typewriter with superscripting ability. The only way a fixed-type machine could have made the Microsoftian-style superscripts is if there was a special key for “st” or “th”—and, according to the IBM manual’s page 167 (page 172 of the .pdf), there were no such special character unit values.
For CBS to say “but typewriters in the day could do superscripts” ignores the whole point of why the superscripting in the forged documents are so persuasive—the letters on a fixed-size metal wheel can’t just get smaller or larger. They must know this, and therefore their continued attempts to deceive the American public are even more sickening.
The $10,000 offer stands.
So for all you democrats who have been saying things like “word was designed off of typewriters” and “Typewriters could do that back then” gather your proof (I know that getting proof is a new concept for you all) and give it to the people at Defeat John John Dot Com at http://defeatjohnjohn.com/2004/09/10000-part-two-ibm-selectric.htm and you should win 10500 bucks! Something tells me this prize will go unclaimed.

Still Funny
I still must laugh at some of these democrats. I’ve read several democratic blog’s some supporting the documents saying they are real, some saying that they are fake and distro’d by Bush himself, others have no clue.
The people whom support the documents are trying to do everything they can to give them credibility. However, several of them seem to think they are much more smart than the experts in this area. Trying to say things like “word was designed off of typewriters” (which, don’t get me wrong, is a true statement). What they don’t look at, is the facts. Experts have said that it appears to be a word document made to appear like a typewriter. That the superscript was only available in typewriters that cost several thousands of dollars (highly unlikely that a gaurd unit would have such a thing). That the spacing appeared incorrect for a typewriter, but fit more for a modern-day “Microsoft Word” program.
Of course, why toss facts in the face of a liberal? It’s all about how they feel, and they will make up facts to support that. (almost how these fake documents were created to support liberal arguments. )

This is getting good
This is really getting good, on one hand you have democrats asking Bush about his service record based off of a fake document(s), and on the other hand, you have democrats saying that the Bush administration published the fake documents. Which is it guys? Are the documents fake or real? If they are fake (which I am certian that they are), why would Bush create them about himself? Or is this just simply a move, by the democrats, to try and point the blame of the creation of this/these fake document(s) in the exact opposite direction?
Latest Registered Poll: CBS —BUSH: 50 KERRY: 42 (which I might point out, bushes numbers continue to increase in the CBS polls, along with others). Sorry Kerry, good try!
Flippin and Floppin
By David Reinhard
Op-Ed
September 9, 2004The Republican National Committee may be in big trouble. The RNC, you see, put video out chronicling John Kerry’s many positions on Iraq over time—the flips and the flops, the zigs and the zags, the waffles.
The GOP put out the 11-minute video (www.kerryoniraq.com) during the Democratic convention . . . and had to go back to the editing room after Boston when Kerry said he would still vote for the war knowing what he knows now. Then, the RNC reissued a 12-minute Kerry-on-Iraq video . . . and Kerry changed his position once again. On Monday, he said, “It’s the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
At this rate, the RNC may go broke having to edit and re-edit its devastating Kerry video over the next months.
My goodness, keep it up Kerry, you may make the RNC go broke

Kerry/democrats “fights” back
Aww, how sad, they are now trying to attck President Bush on his military service record, when Bush did nothing but praise Kerry’s service. Oh well, I can see why Kerry is doing this: he’s losing (badly), thats why.
The democrats have now even said its time for President Bush to squirm. (I’d suggest they look at the polls before they start asking President Bush to squirm)
Now 60 Minutes:
CNSNews.com) – The 32-year-old documents produced Wednesday by the CBS News program “60 Minutes,” shedding a negative light on President Bush’s service in the Texas Air National Guard, may have been forged using a current word processing program, according to typography experts.
But the use of the superscript “th” in one document – “111th F.L.S” – gave each expert pause. They said that is an automatic feature found in current versions of Microsoft Word, and it’s not something that was even possible more than 30 years ago.
“That would not be possible on a typewriter or even a word processor at that time,” said John Collins, vice president and chief technology officer at Bitstream Inc., the parent of MyFonts.com.
“There weren’t any typewriters that did that,” Haley said. “That looks like it might be a function of something like Microsoft Word, which does that automatically.”
Sad, the democrats will stop at nothing. Good Job Kerry/Democrats!
Did you know:
The future president joined the Guard in May 1968. Almost immediately, he began an extended period of training. Six weeks of basic training. Fifty-three weeks of flight training. Twenty-one weeks of fighter-interceptor training. That was 80 weeks to begin with, and there were other training periods thrown in as well. It was full-time work. By the time it was over, Bush had served nearly two years.
Not two years of weekends. Two years.
After training, Bush kept flying, racking up hundreds of hours in F-102 jets. As he did, he accumulated points toward his National Guard service requirements. At the time, guardsmen were required to accumulate a minimum of 50 points to meet their yearly obligation.
According to records released earlier this year, Bush earned 253 points in his first year, May 1968 to May 1969 (since he joined in May 1968, his service thereafter was measured on a May-to-May basis).Bush earned 340 points in 1969-1970. He earned 137 points in 1970-1971. And he earned 112 points in 1971-1972. The numbers indicate that in his first four years, Bush not only showed up, he showed up a lot. Did you know that?
That brings the story to May 1972
Bush asked for permission to go to Alabama to work on a Senate campaign. His superior officers said OK. Requests like that werent unusual, says retired Col. William Campenni, who flew with Bush in 1970 and 1971.In 1972, there was an enormous glut of pilots, Campenni says. The Vietnam War was winding down, and the Air Force was putting pilots in desk jobs. In 72 or 73, if you were a pilot, active or Guard, and you had an obligation and wanted to get out, no problem. In fact, you were helping them solve their problem.
So Bush stopped flying. From May 1972 to May 1973, he earned just 56 points not much, but enough to meet his requirement.
Bush received an honorable discharge after serving five years, four months and five days of his original six-year commitment. By that time, however, he had accumulated enough points in each year to cover six years of service.
Of course, why show democrats facts? It’s all about how they ‘feel’.
To me, he is in the clear, the rest is just spin. Unlike Kerry’s fake injuries, for self advancement in a political career, resulting in a tremendous insult to all Americans and our troops, past and present. Great Job Kerry, keep the insults and the spin coming!
I must
I must laugh at the sad attempt, by the democrats and the Kerry camp, to discredit GWB’s service by using a fake document to hold water to their argument.
Hmm, makes me wonder where this fake document came from, or who paid who to create such a fake document…......
Fine Job Kerry, Real Proud!

P.S. Bush never made his time in the service a political campaign, like you Mr. Kerry.

Very Late Comments on the Conventions
I wanna make some quick (when am I ever quick?) comments on the DNC and RNC even though it is a little late. Here are some things that I noticed:
1) The unity of the two parties is in sharp contrast.
While watching the DNC I got the feeling that this was a party with no loyalty to it’s candidate. They didn’t really seem to have any idea who their candidate even was or what he stood for – but do any of us know that? You heard no speakers going on and on about how much they believed in John Kerry. If they were united in anything it was that they wanted President Bush gone. Is that really unity? Is anyone surprised that the democrats don’t want a Republican in the highest office in the land? Is that unity?
The RNC, on the other hand, was more unified behind their man than I have ever seen. And what struck me about this was that they were not necessarily unified behind his politics. Many of the speakers were, in fact, known to disagree with much of the Bush administration’s policy. But it was clear in every speaker that walked onto that stage that they had a great respect for the man that is our President. They admire him as a leader for sure, but they seemed to admire him as a man even more. What could give an American more pride than to hear speaker after speaker uplift our Commander and Chief? This American was certainly filled with pride!
2.) The focus of the two conventions was vastly different.
The DNC chose to focus on the past. WHY? Is the past something they are actually proud of? Why not let us know what exactly John F. Kerry thinks he is going to do to help this country – we certainly don’t know already!
The RNC, on the other hand, focused on something worthwhile – why George W. Bush is the best man to serve as our President for the next four years.
3.) The energy of the parties could not even be compared.
The Democrats seemed to be bored with themselves right from the outset. There was NO energy. No one was pumped. And they had all these big acts and famouse people…still, no energy. What a shame!
The Republicans though, seemed to start out running and just pick up momentum as they went. The energy grew with every speaker so that by the time the President was ready to speak the convention was on fire! The deligates were PUMPED! I was pumped watching them. It felt more like I was watching a sporting event than a convention. A number of times I found myself on the edge of my seat yelling in excitment at the television. Now, I will admit that I have a large bias but the energy was undeniable.
In the end, was it any wonder that the DNC did NOTHING for John F. Kerry while the RNC sent President Bush’s poll numbers through the roof? I don’t think so.

KERRY REMOVES “LIES”
From Matt at Blogs for Bush:
Kerry Campaign Takes Down Press ReleaseThe other day, I pointed out a Press Release by the Kerry campaign which simply listed off excerpts from various speeches made throughout the convention which either lauded President Bush, or condemned John Kerry.
I noted that the Press Release had “no rebuttals, counter statements, links to material contesting the information…” I even suggested that the Kerry campaign had ample time to attempt to defend itself from the material in the press release. The Press Release also called John McCain, Kerry’s first choice for a running mate, a liar.
Yesterday a commenter noted that the Press Release was briefly missing from the website. Moments later it returned.
Checking today, the Press Release has vanished again!
Looks like the Kerry campaign took note of our criticism, and realized they had done the work of the Bush campaign, creating an extensive list of 143 talking points that we could use against them.
No wonder the Kerry campaign is being reorganized.
Everyone say hello to the Kerry campaign, they seem to be checking out this site fairly regularly.
Yet another sad attempt at spinning.
Monday, September 06, 2004
“Stop talking about Vietnam” said Clinton
Clinton has advised that Kerry steer away from the truth, the truth of what the Swift Boats Vets have been saying. It is quite clear to me that all of the Democrats are terrified of this group.
Was President Bush and/or the Republicans terrified of Michael Moore’s video? No.
Why? Because they knew it was a lot of B.S. spin with all it’s facts taken out of context (unlike the Swift Boat Vets for Truth information)
Did President Bush stay away from the war in Iraq after Michael Moore’s video? No.
Why? He had nothing to hide from. (Unlike Kerry and the Swift Boat Vets for Truth’s information.)
How sad, Kerry has now been advised to stay away from National Security and his beloved Vietnam. What is his campaign going to be about?
Polling
Polls taken in the month of September.
CNN/USATODAY – BUSH: 52 KERRY: 45
NEWSWEEK - BUSH: 52 KERRY: 41
TIME - BUSH: 52 KERRY: 42
ZOGBY - BUSH: 46 KERRY: 43
It’s a good thing.
Does this man ever stop?
He is at it again folks:
Kerry on Iraq: ‘Wrong War, Wrong Place, Wrong Time’
So now he has done the following:
1. Voted for the war
2. Didn’t vote to support our troops in Iraq
3. Then he said that he voted to support our troops before he voted against it
4. Says he was against the war
5. Then, after President Bush’s challenge, said: knowing what we know to day, he would have STILL voted for going to war.
6. Now says ‘Wrong War, Wrong Place, Wrong Time’.
My question: What is the right war, Where is the right place, and when is the right time (after we get attacked again, then lose 3000 Americans)?
How could anyone want this man into office? He has no direction when it comes to National Security. If we were attacked again, I would guess, he would do nothing to protect our people. Why do I say this? Look at his flip flopping above, it’s quite clear.

Kerry can’t compete.
It would appear that Mr. John Kerry can’t compete against President Bush when it comes to the matter of National Security. His advisers are now running scared and have told Mr. Kerry to “concentrate almost exclusively on challenging President Bush on domestic issues from here on out,” (of course, we see this as a last ditch effort). The reason? “he had spent too much of the summer on national security, Mr. Bush’s strongest turf.”
That’s interesting, people still want to hear Kerry’s views on National Security; except the democrats.
I’m looking forward to the following slippery weeks of John Kerry’s campaign. It’s not looking good for any of the democrats, thats for sure.

Intellectual Dishonesty
It’s funny, some were quick to slam conservatives who “turned” on John McCain. Now that Mr. Miller has spoken out against the democrats, these exact same people (you know, the ones who slammed conservatives for turning on John McCain) now slam Mr. Miller for speaking out.
I’m reminded of a statment made by Chris from American Liberty Journal in reference to democrats: “When the shoe is on the other foot, they are quick to take it off.”
That certainly stands true here; so again, I must go with intellectual dishonesty.

Not as much
Not as much as what FJRP had predicted, but this is only one poll:
New York: For the first time since the Presidential race became a two person contest last spring, there is a clear leader, the latest TIME poll shows. If the 2004 election for President were held today, 52% of likely voters surveyed would vote for President George W. Bush, 41% would vote for Democratic nominee John Kerry, and 3% would vote for Ralph Nader, according to a new TIME poll conducted from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2. Poll results are available on TIME.com and will appear in the upcoming issue of TIME magazine, on newsstands Monday, Sept. 6.
Of course, this only goes to help our call: That President Bush will win this election. So this really comes as no big shock to us.

Pre-Poll numbers
September 2nd, 2004 by mjg
After some pre-polling, it is guessed that President Bush will have a nice lead over Kerry after his speach tonight. It has been guessed that his speach tonight, President Bush will bounce to about 58 percent leaving Kerry at a very low 39 percent vote.
As FJRP has said several times, we have already called the election for President Bush.
We are now predicting that President Bush will leave his RNC with polls showing Kerry: 39 Bush: 58. Going into the election it will go either one or two ways: First way (most likely) Kerry will start to bounce back, but will little success the polls will show Kerry: 43 Bush: 54, Bush will have a commanding lead going into the election, and win it with great success. Second way (what FJRP would like to see): Kerry will continue to slip and lose this election by the largest margin since Reagan.

Kerry insider:
I was talking a gentlemen who works for John Kerry’s campaign and he said the following (we were talking about my blog):
well.. just to let you know I’ve seen your blog before in relation to work stuff… so I suppose good job
At first he wasn’t aware that MJG’s Political Blog was my blog, after I told him it was my blog he said the above comment. I won’t repeat what he said before he knew it was my blog
.
It was verified that he did work for the Kerry campaign.
