In another story broken by bloggers it appears that yet another election controversy is in the making. Democratic candidate John Kerry apparently, in a delicate fashion, removed someting that appeared to be notecards from his jacket pocket while his back was to the crowd.
As posted on the DrudgeReport, the regulations agreed by both candidates state that: “No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by either candidate…. Each candidate must submit to the staff of the Commission prior to the debate all such paper and any pens or pencils with which a candidate may wish to take notes during the debate, and the staff or commission will place such paper, pens and pencils on the podium…”
The question as to what Kerry actually pulled from his jacket remains unanswered. However, it does appear that the Democratic Senator has some questions that need to be answered.
